Sediment sampling continues

One of the aims of the project is to assess the filter's purification capacity and its ability to capture pollutants within the filter itself. 

To achieve this, several sediment sampling campaigns have been carried out on the two filters since they were commissioned. The purpose of these campaigns is to 

• Assess changes in the stock of pollutants in the different layers of substrate (in the different filters and their zones),
• Assess changes in their physico-chemical and microbiological properties.
• Measure the density of the different substrates.
   

The final campaigns of the project took place on 14 October 2024 for filter 2 and on 13 November 2024 for filter 1. These campaigns was carried out by the project partners.
